Day 27 - story 4 p.2


The sausage-like vorhinter is fond of many tiny creatures. Because he looks the same from front or back he can fool them and gobble them up when they think he is going away.  The tall orange screech hen blends in with the orange grasses.  Whenever she catches a juicy bug she lets out an ear-shattering screech that startles the vorhinter into running backwards.

The world is young and the sun is bright and fills everything with color.  There are many creatures, like the red bird-faced Axope, who lives on the red fruit from the red grasslands.

As the sun slides down into the great river Obercranish on Christmas night the grinzel is making his way back to his safe place for the night.  The minniefish find rocks to hide beneath.

Further down the river, where the water runs deeps you can find the diamond-shaped gem fish, and the orange howler scavenges for food along the banks.  The gulls fly above.

Below the walls on the sandy flood plains dwell the vorhinters and the red walking hens.  They live on the many bugs and tiny creatures that abound there.  
The eye fish swim together and the turtles warm themselves in the shallows.

On the steep canyon walls above the river dwell the curly-tailed wadishers, that live on the salty, bitter sand grasses that cling to the walls.  It is said that the curls in their tails and horns help them keep their balance.

With the turn of a page the circlefish become stripers.  The spider sticks to the golden way and a little vorhinter crosses underneath.
