Thanx for hanging around with all these weirdos for another year.

Let’s hope 2021 gets everyone healthy....

See you all later!

A pair of odd critters!  Giant bugs with tiny little wings.
(Can they actually fly with those things?)

Tuesday, December 29, 2020

Oh yes, it’s Dotty Bee!  Resting on that rock.

The holiday season is so tiring!

I’m not sure if this guy will be able to live out here in the woods...

sure looks like a sea creature to me!

Sunday, December 27, 2020

 Aaargh!
Is this guy threatening us with his claws, or just saying hello?

Saturday, December 26, 2020

 And here the sleepy Bluelephant.
I’d say he was playing in the snow, but I don’t know if he actually plays!

Friday, December 25, 2020

It snowed for Christmas!

Looks like everyone is sort of trying to be socially distanced...

Merry Christmas.!!

Thursday, December 24, 2020

Oh wow!  It looks like Santa Piggie is rushing around!

Yikes!  It’s Christmas eve!  No wonder he’s in a hurry!

An angelic cat!  I didn’t know there was such a thing...
it does look a little smug....

Tuesday, December 22, 2020

Francine certainly looks at home on this mossy mound....

I thought she lived in my studio!

Monday, December 21, 2020

This sneaky-looking guy is almost hidden in this stump.
Good thing his coat doesn’t cover him completely!

Sunday, December 20, 2020

Aaah.  It’s Fragen.  Doing some tricky trike-riding down that stump!

Saturday, December 19, 2020

Oh look!  It’s Ronnie!  Looks like he’s sneaking away...

maybe trying to get away from those screamers!

Friday, December 18, 2020

OMG!  Three screaming babies!  Bird babies or monster babies?
Hope they don’t grow too big!

Thursday, December 17, 2020

A long blocky dragon! With map-like skin – wait, it is a map!

Must be how it found it’s way here...

Wednesday, December 16, 2020

This is obviously an alien!  Is it an invader or just seeking shelter?

Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Oooh My! A dragon with a purple beak!
Looks like he fashioned himself to show up on the green moss..

Monday, December 14, 2020

Aaah.  Poor Audrey doesn’t quite fit in this mossy house.
Hope she has an umbrella if it rains!

Sunday, December 13, 2020

I’d know Madame Schultz anywhere.  She is always so disdainful.

Saturday, December 12, 2020

Old Blinky!!
I wonder how he managed to fly out here into this mossy new home...

Friday, December 11, 2020

Such a long skinny neck on this bird...
good thing that house has a big hole in it!

Thursday, December 10, 2020

Yikes!  A beautiful blue bird carrying a Menorah on its head!

Happy Hanukkah !

Wednesday, December 9, 2020

Good grief!  What an odd-looking dragon!  It must be a dragon, but it has knitted wings...how peculiar!

Tuesday, December 8, 2020

These are very shiny ladybugs!  Looks like they are all going to a party!

Monday, December 7, 2020

Is it a dog?  A bunny?  It sure looks startled...
don’t worry buddy, you’re safe!

Saturday, December 5, 2020

Wow!  I wonder why I never saw this critter before!  He is a colorful delight!

Ohmmm.  Buddha will help us try to fine serenity in this crazy world we are
living in right now!

Friday, December 4, 2020

Somehow I always thought this dragon was much bigger,
but he fits right under this stump.

Thursday, December 3, 2020

Oh Great!  Yay!
If the little bluebird is here we are doing just fine...

Daily December Calendar!

It's Coming!

Starting on Tuesday, Dec 1st, I will be sending out my end-of-the-year Calendar,

which consists of an email a day until the end of the year.

Most of you have seen these before.

This year, among all the creatures, I once again have many created by that

clever lady, Kim Van Zähller. Thank you Kim!

This year we will – I hope – be cheered and distracted from our grey Covid lives.

I will also be posting the calendar on my blog http://dreamingprinter.blogspot.com

If you do want to use another address, let me know

Let me know if you don't want a daily email,

and I'll take you off the list – or you can just unsubscribe in MailChimp.

If you want to read about the history of these calendars read here:

Mandalas

A Mandala with little horse/deer creatures we saw on the stone cave walls in Utah.
And a few bits of stuff around the edges - treasures!

and another - with some horned gods.

Something New..

I made a kind of hanging book, and the pages are really leaves...
well, prints of leaves, waxed with encaustic wax.
It seems to be a time to experiment....

Memories

I have been doing a project for the encaustic group, New England Wax, called Memory.

I interpreted it as memories, and used old photos with the encaustic.  Here are a few.

(with my brother Don, and the dog)

by myself with a pompom ski hat
with half my class from Holderness Central School
with the cousins in the rain.
