I've been very lax about posting here, so will try to update
a bit.
We took an amazing trip in July to the eastern Sierras. I did my usual drawings and watercolors, keeping myself humble. Here are a few:
The last one, though small, reflects something else I have
been working on. Expressive
Drawing. Inspired by my fellow Depot Square Artist Elizabeth Carter, I
have been doing some large, loose, free drawing. Making a conscious choice to let myself work
large and without a specific goal I have been having a lot of fun, and I think
I am giving myself some new inspiration. Some will be glued to panels and worked
further with encaustic, and others will be cannibalized into smaller finished pieces.
