We were in Utah, in the needles, and we saw a lot of ancient rock art like this.  

Looks like it was painted yesterday.  

Makes me feel very humble.

Leaf-erific gelatin prints to encaustic.

Made a bunch of gelatin prints at Deb Claffey's studio, and once they finally dried in this humid weather we've had I turned them into an encaustic!  Fun fun fun

Yay!  I got a piece accepted in to the 84th Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft 

at the Fitchburg Art Museum!  

The reception is this Friday, 6/21/19, 6-8.

Spring Green...

Spring always brings my favorite - skunk cabbage! 

In spite of its name it's so green and lush - I love it!

Home from the Hills

 We were in Zermatt, skiing near that big pointy Matterhorn!

And then in Grindelwald next to the Eiger.

Now we're home in Groton, where this Barred owl seems to think the bird feeder is there just to provide him with a steady supply of songbirds for dinner!

sigh.
