Daily postcards

Since January I've been making a postcard a day (well, really, 6 a week) to send to someone dear to me who could use some cheer - as well as an occasional one to other recipients.  It finally occurred to me that I could post them for your amusement.  It is a good art exercise, even if the results are a bit raggedy.... 

I read what my son Nate wrote at the end of 64 days of writing a daily song and realized it applied to what I was doing.  He wrote, If you should embark upon writing a song  – or any other creative project – remember that if it feels like you’re creating “the worst piece of crap”, you’re probably on the right track.  His songs are at http://nateborofsky.com.  They are definitely not crap.
